Who is Eligible for Veterans Assistance?
Veterans and their families may be able to access financial support for in-home care via the Veterans Administration’s Aid and Attendance program. Unfortunately, this veterans health care program is not as well-known as it should be, and many families are unaware that they are eligible.
Susta's Health Solutions LLC can assist you in applying for and obtaining Aid and Attendance veterans assistance. The prerequisites are:
- You must be a veteran or the surviving spouse of a veteran who has served at least 90 days on active duty, with one day beginning or ending during a period of war
- The patient must have non-service medical related conditions
- Income and asset requirements must be met
